5 Sparrows was incorporated as a 501c3 non-profit in December 2012 and worked hard to build partnerships with local, state, and federal law enforcement (LE) agencies in Cumberland and adjacent counties while continually providing critical support to HT victims in collaboration with other victim service providers.
In 2016, 5 Sparrows received a 2-year grant through Project NO REST which enabled the hiring of several staff members.
5 Sparrows operates by screening, training, and integrating several hundred professional volunteers from across the community. The organization operates as the anti-human trafficking component of the Fayetteville Dream Center.
Answering a call to serve against this modern-day injustice, 5 Sparrows was founded by Pete (retired Army officer) and Kelly Twedell (Director of the Fayetteville Dream Center).
